The "Diamond World" public corporation was formed in the year of 1999 on the base of State Unitary Enterprise and production complex "Moscow factory "Crystal".

The main shareholders of the "Diamond World" public corporation are: Russian Federation in the person of the authorized authority - Ministry of property of Russia and Stock company "ALROSA" (Close corporation).

The shareholders determined the development strategy of Company as the foundation for the creation of the Diamond Center of Russia. The "Diamond World" is the member of the Diamond Chamber of Russia, Association of Diamond Producers, Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The "Diamond World" public corporation lays the foundation for the active cooperation with domestic and foreign lapidary and jewellery enterprises and their associations, with head research-and-production centers of the diamond complex, with the state authorities, determining the policy of Russia in the development of precious metal market and precious stone market.
